Abstract [eng] |
The main objective of this work is to determine the impact of using an enterprise social network (ESN) for knowledge sharing on employees' innovative behavior, through innovation climate and creative self-efficacy. The paper consists of three parts - an analysis of the scientific literature, research methodology and analysis of quantitative research data, followed by conclusions and recommendations. The literature analysis aimed to define the concepts of knowledge sharing, ESN use, innovative behavior, innovation climate and creative self-efficacy and to clarify their significance in the organization. It also aimed to identify the dimensions of ESN use. The quantitative study was prepared on the basis of a questionnaire survey. It helped to clarify the direct impact of ESN use and its dimensions on employees' innovative behavior, as well as the indirect one, when this relationship is mediated by knowledge sharing. In addition, the aim was to clarify the effect of innovation climate and creative self-efficacy as moderators on the relationship between knowledge sharing as a mediator, when it mediates the effect of ESN use on innovative behavior, and innovative behavior. Since ESN use is a second-order construct consisting of dimensions of use, which are first-order constructs – consumptive, contributive, hedonic and social, two model analyses were performed, in the first case calculations were performed with general ESN use, and in the second case with separated dimensions of ESN use. The conclusions and recommendations of the work summarize the results of the analysis of the literature and research data, which showed that ESN use has a positive direct effect on innovative behavior, but different ways of using ESN have different effects. Knowledge sharing, as a mediator, can enhance the effect of ESN use on innovative behavior, but not with all dimensions. The moderating effect of innovation climate did not enhance employee innovativeness, but creative self-efficacy contributes to promoting employee innovative behavior. |
