Abstract [eng] |
The transition from a linear to a circular economy (CE) has gained increasing attention as a sustainable alternative to traditional economic models, aiming to address environmental challenges by reducing waste and maximizing resource utilization. This paper examines the factors that significantly impact the adoption of circular economy practices across various business sectors. While some industries have made strides in embracing circularity, others face substantial challenges, indicating a need for a comprehensive analysis of these dynamics. Through a qualitative approach that includes a literature review and expert interviews, this research identifies current CE practices, barriers to implementation, and success factors within different sectors. Ultimately, the findings will contribute to developing a model that clarifies the key factors influencing the application of CE principles, providing valuable insights for businesses, policymakers, and stakeholders committed to advancing sustainable practices. |
