Abstract [eng] The topic analyzed in the master's thesis is procedural forensic characteristics and problems of object inspection. This topic reveals one of the steps in the process - inspection of objects and its connection with other steps in the criminal process. When examining this topic, scientific literature, interpretations presented in court practice, and significant legal acts are used. The legal regulation of inspection of objects is compared with foreign countries. How other authors describe object inspection is discussed, and a new concept for describing object inspection is formulated. Examining the topic of this master's thesis reveals the specificity and significance of object inspection actions in Lithuania. The work analyzes the definition of object inspection, also examines the duties and characteristics of officials participating in object inspection, examines the principles and stages of object inspection. The work discusses the tactical features of individual inspection objects. After examining the court practice in criminal cases and the analyzes carried out by other authors, the work focuses on examining the problems we face when inspecting various objects.
