This thesis examines the potential impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the 12 principles of project management outlined in the PMBOK Guide, 7th edition. Interviews with project management professionals revealed perceived benefits of AI, such as automation and data-driven decision-making, as well as challenges like data security, integration difficulties, and ethical concerns. While AI adoption is currently limited, it shows promise, particularly in areas like risk management and team collaboration. The thesis suggests further research is needed to explore the full potential of AI in project management. |
