The master's thesis analyzes the change management in the reorganized municipal educational organization. Change management in educational organizations is an important process in order to achieve the quality of education and effective optimization of the school network. It is important to properly assess the perspectives and possibilities of the future activities of municipal educational organizations, which are connected with various political decisions, implemented laws and by-laws. Factors that influence change are related to the organization's activities, when there is a reaction to the necessary reforms, their implementation and purposeful action in solving the problems that have arisen. Change management must be individualized and adapted to a specific educational organization. In this regard, the main problematic questions arise: what disturbances occur during the reorganization of the municipal educational organization? and how to manage changes in the reorganized municipal education organization? Taking into account the problematic issues, the object of this work is the management of changes in the reorganized municipal educational organization. The aim of the work is to reveal the change management processes in the reorganized municipal education organization, conceptualizing and empirically substantiating the change management disturbances and preparing a plan of measures to eliminate the disturbances. To achieve the goal, three work tasks were formed. The first task aims at - after analyzing the definition of change management, change management processes and resistance factors, to theoretically conceptualize change management disturbances. The second task aims to identify, after performing the analysis of change management models, how the application of the chosen model leads to successful change management. The third task aims to identify and categorize change management disturbances in the reorganized municipal education organization and to prepare a plan of measures to eliminate change management disturbances. The work consists of three main parts. The first part presents the concept of change management: definition of change management, factors of change management, conceptualization of resistance to change, models of change management, change management in an educational organization. In the second part of the work, the empirical research methodology was formed, the research design, justification of the chosen research methods, research organization and ethics were presented. The third part of the work presents the results of the study of change management in the reorganized municipal educational organization, and presents a plan of measures to eliminate disturbances that occurred during change management. Theoretical and empirical methods are used in the work. Theoretical analysis was used in the theoretical part, and semi-structured interviews were used in the empirical part, during which seven selected informants were directly related to change management in the reorganized municipal education organization. The method of qualitative content analysis was chosen to examine the research data. The results of the thesis research and the formed recommendations can contribute to consistent and successful change management in educational organizations. |
