Abstract [eng] Biosensors – devices, sensitive to certain materials, which are used to identify characteristics of that material. The model of a single enzyme amperometric biosensor, described in other works, is modified by changing plane electrode to carbon nanotubes based electrode in enzyme layer. Mathematical model was created together with a dimensionless mathematical model and numerical model. Numerical model was implemented in Matlab environment. After the research on biosensor sensitivity characteristics was performed and sensitivity was compared to classic biosensors with a plane electrode sensitivity, it can be stated that this biosensor with carbon nanotubes based electrode has approximately the same sensitivity characteristics.
