Abstract [eng] Substantiation: period of studies is associated not only with high mental and physical activity but also with formation of unhealthy lifestyle. Many students usually lack knowledge about staying fit and healthy lifestyle formation. A review of various authors research shows that Lithuanian students' health is not very good. Students typically compain about headached, stomachaches and abdomen pain as well as irratability and moodiness. Bad health is caused by lifestyle, which is not healthy of most students. Work objectives: to determine Medicine and Philosophy faculties of Vilnius University students own health evaluation and changes in evaluation over the period of studying at Vilnius University. Tasks: 1. Determine students own health evaluation, based on their gender, year, faculty and studies program. Evaluate students' health problems spread through the period of studies. 3. Determine students' health problems by the information provided by students. 4. Evaluate students' opinion about the quality of healthcare services. Methods: descriptive quantitative analysis. Survey was conducted in 2016 October - November. The study was carried out in an anonymous questionnaire method. Test group (n =772) for analysis consists of Medicine and Philosophy faculties of Vilnius University full-time students, who are studying in II - VI courses. Data analysis was carried out using statistical program SPSS Statictics 23.0. Pirson Chi square (c2) test was used for analyzing categorical data. When there were less than 5 expected values, Fisher's exact method was used. Confidential intervals were calculated by using WinPepi statistics software. Logistical regression models created, odds ratios (OR) derived and 95% confidential intervals (CI) calculated. The difference was considered statistically significant when p ≤0,05. Results and conclusions: majority (65,9%) of students evaluated their health as good or very good. Women considered their health to be better than men did, so did MF students compared to PF students. Public health studies program students evaluated their health highest, compared to other studies. 4th course students evaluated their health worst compared to other courses. Almost half of students' health got worse during studies. MF students declared that more often than PF students. Most common health problems involve vision and motion support system illness. It was found that the main causes of health problems were huge workload and low physical activity. Studying in Medicine faculty raised the risk for health to get worse by 4,2 times. 41,2 percent of students stated that the quality of healthcare meets their expectations. Women stated that more often, compared to men, so did MF students compared to PF students. Healthcare services was not significantly different in the view of course and busyness.
