Abstract [eng] Application Opportunities of Agile Methodology in Service Company Management. The main purpose of this master thesis is to identify which methods (or their modified versions) of Agile methodology can be applied in service company management. This master thesis consists of these parts – literature scientific analysis, author’s research methodology (research methods, authors’ research model, essential elements used in the research of application of Agile methodology), research itself (preliminary analysis of company’s spheres of activities and application opportunities, application of Agile methodology in these sphere of activities: procurement organization services and process review) and conclusions. Research methods used in this master thesis – literature scientific analysis, document analysis, observation, synthesis, interview and simulation. After conducting the research several findings were identified. First of all, opportunities of successful application of Agile methodology depends not on the company’s sphere of activities (whether it is IT or not), but on separate type of activities, where the Agile methodology is applied, which means the essential condition is – project-based type of separate activity. Taking into consideration separate elements which were identified as essential resulting in effective application of Agile methodology are as follows: project-based activity, lasting no less than 2-3 months, possibility to divide all activity into iterations, presence of concrete date when an activity ends or its deadline, possibility to create a result in the process that client already can use. During the research while applying Agile methodology in the service company such results emerged – Scrum and Kanban methods were applied in an activity of procurement organizing services and process review (adapted models are introduced in section 4). Since most of the activities in the company are operational (not project based) Agile methodology wasn’t applicable, however, separate tools, for example, Scrum daily meetings may be partly applicable in other activities, such as sales management, as well. Conducting further researches of effective application of Agile methodology, more attention should be put on empirical data to prove the effect the methodology provides. Furthermore, possibility to suggest daily management system to concrete organization using methods, tools or practices of Agile methodology maybe be researched. Also, it is possible to research relations between Agile and other, for example, Lean, methodology, its application opportunities, interrelationships, constrains, etc.
