This master thesis reviews the thermal response test (TRT) development in the world using mobile TRT devices. Thermal response tests are necessary in order to properly recognize the geological column thermal properties, these properties are essential for the design of geothermal heat pump systems. In the study area must be measured main thermal parameters, while the same thermal response test is carried out in one or more parts of the field circuit. Thermal response test allows to calculate the main underground thermal parameters, such like the rock thermal conductivity, temperature transfer, and borehole thermal resistance values. This master thesis presents a number of different methods of calculation, obtained compared to their value, to provide a calculation methodology which would allow an accurate assessment of the ground thermal properties. |
