This paper analyzes the legal regulation of the crypto-asset market in the European Union and Lithuania, the MiCA regulation and the main aspects of crypto-assets. The aim is to reveal the essence of crypto-assets and analyze not only the regulation itself, but also the regulatory issues not only in the European Union, but also in Lithuania. For this purpose, not only legal acts were reviewed, but also the situation of the crypto-asset market, in order to ensure that the analysis was relevant at the time of writing the paper. |
