Abstract [eng] This master's thesis explores the potential to increase organizational efficiency through the integration of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Information Systems (IS). The relevance of the topic stems from the increasingly dynamic business environment and the growing need for organizations to manage operations more effectively using data-driven and technological solutions. The object of the research is the interaction between KPIs and IS in the context of organizational efficiency. The aim of the study is to analyze how the implementation of IS affects KPI usage and, in turn, organizational performance. The objectives of the research included a review of scientific literature, development of a research methodology, conducting interviews with employees from a financial services company, and analyzing the collected data using the Socio-Technical Systems (STS) theory and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A mixed-methods approach was applied: quantitative KPI analysis before and after IS implementation, and qualitative semi-structured interviews to assess employee perspectives. The findings indicate that the synergy between KPIs and IS can significantly enhance organizational efficiency. However, the extent of this impact depends on employee engagement, the adaptability of technologies, and the organizational culture. The key conclusions highlight the importance of a holistic approach to integrating IS and KPI management, emphasizing not only process automation but also improved employee motivation and data-informed decision-making.
