Abstract [eng] |
In today’s context, improvisation is considered as a critical skill for organizations as well as individuals. However, this research field is still emerging, there is a lack for research exploring employee’s improvisational behaviour relationships with other constructs. The aim of this study is to analyse the relationship between organizational innovative climate, team innovative climate, creative self-efficacy and improvisational behaviour. Study population included 114 participants: 72 women and 42 men. To measure study variables team climate inventory (TCI), the climate for innovation scale, short scale of creative self (SSCS) and adapted scale for improvisational behaviour were used. For data analysis correlation, linear hierarchical regression, structural equation modelling analysis were used. The results indicated that organizational innovative climate, team innovative climate, creative self-efficacy and improvisational behaviour were all significantly interrelated. Creative self-efficacy, team innovative climate and gender were significant predictors of improvisational behaviour while organizational climate was not. Structural equation model indicated that creative self-efficacy mediates the relationship between organizational innovative climate and improvisational behaviour. Team innovative climate was related with improvisational behaviour only with direct relationship. These findings provide insights into improvisational behaviour relationships with multi-level innovative climate and creative self-efficacy. However further research is needed in this field. |
