Abstract [eng] |
This literature review examines the current state and future prospects of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in cardiology-arrhythmology. The integration of AI, particularly deep learning techniques, has shown significant promise in enhancing various aspects of arrhythmia management. Key areas of impact include ECG interpretation, arrhythmia detection and classification, risk prediction, and continuous monitoring through wearable devices. AI models have demonstrated accuracy comparable to or exceeding that of human experts in many tasks, such as detecting atrial fibrillation and other cardiac abnormalities. The review also explores AI's potential in drug management, electrophysiology procedures, and personalized treatment approaches. Despite these advancements, challenges remain, including issues of data quality, model interpretability, and the need for robust clinical validation. Ethical considerations and regulatory frameworks are discussed as critical factors in the responsible implementation of AI in clinical practice. |
