Abstract [eng] This master's thesis examines experiences in improving educational institutions in order to understand how various educational reforms and changes and their strategies can improve the management of educational institutions and the quality of teaching and learning, and what measures are needed to improve management. The main focus is on leadership, the professional development of teachers and staff, the use of management tools, and the involvement of the educational institution community in decision-making processes. The impact of leadership on the culture of educational institutions, strategic decisions, and the sustainable development of educational institutions is analyzed. Although the management processes of educational institutions are analyzed in scientific literature, there is a lack of scientific work on experience, so this work aims to analyze the experience of various educational institutions in improving themselves and the measures that managers use in the management process. The methodological part of the paper presents the empirical research methodology: research design, which describes the theoretical framework, research method (semi-structured interviews), qualitative research sample, strategy, informant characteristics, research organization, and ethics. The results of the study reveal that successful improvement of educational institutions requires leadership, strategic planning, the promotion of reflection, a culture of cooperation, and continuous learning and improvement. Problem statement: What experiences in improving the management of educational institutions are effective and how could they contribute to improving management efficiency? Subject of the work: experiences in improving the management of educational institutions. Objective of the work: to reveal experiences in improving the management of educational institutions. Tasks of the work: 1. To theoretically examine the role of the head of an educational institution, their leadership, and the importance of the management process itself in the context of managing educational organizations. 2. To investigate experiences in improving the management of educational institutions by analyzing the opinions and suggestions of informants on the effectiveness of management improvement. The results of the study showed that the head of an educational institution plays an essential role in ensuring effective management based on leadership, strategic planning, cooperation, consistency, and value growth.
