Julius Pašukonis The Information Structure of Electronic Water Tourism Maps. Summary Water tourism is popular type of tourism in Lithuania and attracts many people. Major part of water tourism in Lithuania consists of people traveling in rivers and lakes. Water tourism helps to develop infrastructure that is related to it. It’s useful to know some vital information about the route for tourists who want to travel in Lithuania’s rivers. Maps of the river routes are easily accessible through the internet, but most of now existing maps are poorly made and lack necessary information about routes. In the process of this study there were four criteria formulated, in accordance to which the rivers to be selected. Information structure of the map was created according to which information is necessary for water tourist. Eight maps were created in which there is information needed for the tourist who is about to plan his route, or the one who is already traveling. |
