Abstract [eng] The study aims to investigate the impact of role overload and innovation fatigue on team viability in knowledge workers teams. A quantitative survey of knowledge workers was conducted, and 207 respondents were surveyed. The results of the empirical study revealed that while role overload does not directly affect team viability, innovation fatigue has a significant negative impact. Further analysis showed that innovation fatigue acts as a mediator for role overload in lowering team viability. These findings highlight the need for organizational strategies to lighten employees' innovation fatigue in knowledge workers' teams and effectively manage role demands to sustain a successful team future. This research advances the understanding of work stressors' effects on team outcome – team viability, emphasizing the importance of addressing innovation-related challenges in knowledge-intensive environments.
