Abstract [eng] The work analyzes eating disorders (nerve anorexia, bulimia nervosa, excessive eating) and physical activity (habits, attitudes). The hypothesis raised is that physical activity and eating disorders are strongly interrelated: physical activity has a negative effect on eating disorders. A total of 167 high school students attended the study. The research instrument was an anonymous questionnaire, which consisted of 50 questions. The questionnaire consisted of 5 question blocks. The study examined gymnastic leisure time, physical activity habits, eating habits and knowledge about eating disorders. Results: 1. The participants in this study are physically active, they spend their weekends actively, but they are not inclined to enjoy physical education in school, which is based on the lack of various sports, therefore, they are choosing additional physical activity during leisure time. The respondents have a lot of knowledge about eating disorders and they do are not complaining about their eating disorders. 2. The survey revealed three groups of respondents: respondents who are satisfied with their appearance and respondents who are not satisfied with their appearance, physically active and physically inactive respondents and respondents with overweight and low weight. All these three groups were compared with each other, their eating habits and physical activity habits were taken into account, as well as their appearance. The results showed that less physically active respondents are less aggressive, spend more time at home, but tend to follow diets, while respondents who are physically more active chose more active ways to lose weight and they are more satisfied with their appearance. The research hypothesis that physical activity affects the eating disorder from the negative side has only been partially proved. Different types of eating disorders are characterized by varying physical activity loads. It also depends on the person who is sick or ill.
