Collection of five paintings was formed, according to this master‘s thesis, theoretical material and researches. This collection topic is controversial marginal situation‘s charm in a kids games. In the first part of master‘s thesis we meet with concept of childhood, contemporary childhood evaluation in the public, also we investigate concept of game, culture and phenomenon of marginal situations‘, theirs meaning of manifestation in kids games. This master‘s thesis is based on presented authors‘ works and insights, which are related with this master‘s thesis topic : Neil Postman The disappearance of childhood, Audronė Juodaityte The phenomenon of childhood, Nijolė Grinevičienė the games of chilhood, Johan Huizinga The Homo Ludens, Eric Zimmerman The insights about electronic games, Jame Jasper Juul The insights about contemporary games, K. Jaspersas The marginal situations and other authors. Several painting and mixed techniques works are discussed in this thesis, which are made by Jolanta Kyzikaitė, Dan Parry Joanes, Shintaro Ohata, also there stencil art is discussed, which authors are famous artists like Bansky, Alias. Interview and questionnaire are made during the course of thesis in a kids games topic. Investigation helps us seperate five marginal situations, which are most often manifested in a time of kids games and used in a realization of painting project. In the last part of master‘s thesis painting project themes searching stage, collection realization stage are written, also there is evaluation of collection performance. In the end final master‘s thesis findings are formed, which confirm hypothesis, that adults don‘t appreciate meaning of marginal situations in childhood games, that‘s why whey give up for evaluation of stereotypical childhood period and games activites. |
