Abstract [eng] There are a lot of researches done to better understand the main principles of supply chain management, therefore supply chain management is well understood and quite common. On the other hand, nowadays more and more products and services are developed in digital environment, therefore regular supply chains are no longer viable and it is quite hard to adapt them. Suppliers in digital supply chain are creating digital products by using computer technologies and therefore digital products never achieve physical form. This method of developing products removes time and space barriers in the digital supply chain, therefore different suppliers across the globe can participate. Knowing these differences it is important to understand digital supply chain principles and choose relevant IT systems to support its management. Master thesis consists of 3 main parts. In the first part author reviews literature to better understand supply chain management principles and problematics. As well analysis is conducted to understand differences between regular and digital supply chain and how IT systems can be used to manage supply chains. Author distinguishes 4 main aspects of supply chain: organisation leadership and management, risk management, importance of KPI relationship and monitoring, IT systems integration level. Also an analysis of available IT systems in the market is made to choose the most suitable IT system for digital supply chain. In the second part of master thesis a qualititave research is conducted which supports the 4 main principles which were distinguished before as well as importance of IT system contribution to manage the supply chain. In the last part of master thesis author presents improved digital supply chain and briefly discusses how chosen IT system supports the improved digital supply chain. Digital supply chain used to create digital products and services can be fully managed by IT system. Important factors such as: organisational leadership, risk management, KPI monitoring and relationship can be managed by IT system. Model which was created by author can reach third level of IT system integration in the created digital supply chain model. This allows system to be efficiently utilized to support digital supply chain management. While using improved digital supply chain model it is important to note that it is necessary to address IT system technical support as well as user training to use system as this may impact its efficiency.
