The book "Akty unii wileńskiej i mielnickiej (1499–1501). Dokumenty i studia" under review, published within the series “Lithuanian Foreign Policy Documents. 13th–18th Centuries,” represents a significant continuation of efforts to make accessible the treaties of union concluded between Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The volume brings together a corpus of materials assembled over many years, comprising analyses of the 1499 and 1501 union acts in Latin alongside their Polish translations, scholarly studies, seal catalogues, document photographs, and an extensive bibliography and indexes. This study constitutes a valuable resource for historical inquiry and will undoubtedly serve as an important point of reference for future research and academic debate. |
