Abstract [eng] The research explores how internal communication shapes corporate heritage in ministries in Italy and Lithuania. Drawing on the concept of corporate heritage proposed by Martino and Lovari (2025), the study examines traditional events and their characteristics, physical objects within the ministries perceived as corporate heritage, corporate publishing policies, internal communication campaigns, and training activities aimed at promoting corporate values and reinforcing the Ministry’s identity. Through in-depth interviews with internal communication and human resources specialists, and by comparing these two distinct administrative contexts, the research uncovers similarities and differences in how corporate heritage is perceived, managed, and utilized by employees. Both ministries place significant value on traditional events and maintain physical artifacts that embody their corporate heritage. However, they differ in their corporate publishing policies and the measures used to promote corporate values. The study concludes with recommendations to revitalize corporate heritage in public sector organisations.
