After reviewing the theoretical formulations and discussions on environmental taxes, the analytical part will present the empirical level of the problem’s examination, the trends of previous studies, and the methods used to investigate objects similar to the one analysed. Additionally, the vehicle pollution taxation system in Lithuania and its development during the research period will be briefly introduced. The research section will outline the quantitative methodology that is going to be used in the study, the course of the research and its results. The conclusions and recommendations will provide a more detailed discussion of the findings, assess their potential practical significance and present public policy implications. |
