The concept of sustainable finance, which is increasingly used in the modern world, encourages to assess its impact on the country's economic activity. The concept of sustainable finance itself can be defined in various ways, and different concepts lead to different approaches to the impact not only on the country's economic indicators, but also on the environment and social factors. Various opinions on this topic are observed in the literature, and the results of scientific research show that sustainable finance has a positive impact on both the country's economy and such factors as climate change mitigation or reducing of carbon dioxide emissions. Based on these research methods, the methodology of this work, which includes correlation and regression analyses, has been formulated. The obtained results confirm both the theoretical and empirical findings of the work and show a statistically significant positive impact of sustainable finance on the economies of the Baltic States. |
