The thesis consists of 71 pages, 4 figures, 10 tables, and 33 references. The aim of this master’s thesis is to evaluate the impact of digital communication on the interaction between team collaboration and innovative employee behavior in the context of digital transformation. The study seeks to determine whether digital communication is associated with team collaboration, how team collaboration relates to innovative employee behavior, and whether digital transformation influences the strength of these relationships. The theoretical part of the thesis examines the concepts of digital communication, team collaboration, innovative employee behavior, and digital transformation, as well as their interrelationships, based on contemporary scientific literature. A conceptual research model and research hypotheses were developed on the basis of the literature review. The empirical part of the study is based on a quantitative research design using a questionnaire survey method. The study involved 212 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS statistical software, applying descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, regression analysis, mediation analysis, and moderated mediation analysis using the Hayes PROCESS macro. The results of the study indicate that digital communication is significantly associated with the level of team collaboration, while team collaboration has a positive effect on innovative employee behavior. The findings also reveal that team collaboration mediates the relationship between digital communication and innovative employee behavior. However, digital transformation does not moderate the relationship between digital communication and team collaboration and does not affect the indirect impact of digital communication on innovative employee behavior. The results suggest that the influence of digital communication on innovative employee behavior in organizations is realized through team collaboration processes, while technological maturity alone is not sufficient to strengthen these relationships. |
