In Master's thesis analyzed importance and significance of communication based on symmetry principles ensuring employees involvement in education sector organizations professional development. In dynamic and often unpredictable future environment, modern organizations face constant challenges related to employee motivation and engagement in professional development. Organizations are increasingly facing challenges in employee engagement, motivation, and long-term loyalty. Rapid changes in labor market, technological advances, and generational change are leading to that traditional, one-way communication forms are no longer able to ensure effective employee engagement in professional development processes. For this reason, organizations are constantly looking for strategies to increase organizational innovation, productivity, overall efficiency, and employee engagement in professional development. Symmetrical communication, based on two-way dialogue principles, feedback, and trust, creates conditions for employees to feel heard, participate developing professional development strategies and take responsibility for their own career development. Result of symmetrical communication - employee engagement in professional development, which is considered as the most powerful factor that allows organization achieve competitive advantage, organizational efficiency, and long-term success. Structure. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, three parts, conclusions, recommendations, references, and appendices. In the theoretical part of work presented symmetrical communication and employee engagement in professional development theoretical analysis: presented concept of symmetrical communication, its characteristics, benefits to the organization, concept of employee engagement in professional development, professional development process, goals, benefits to the organization. In the methodological part of work presented symmetrical communication and employee engagement in professional development research strategy, research methods, research organization and ethics. In the empirical part of work presented symmetrical communication for employee engagement in professional development research results and discussion summarizing research, in which study results compared with context of similar studies conducted by other authors. Objectives of empirical research: 1. To reveal symmetrical communication content in organizations from employees` perspective of employees. 2. To reveal characteristics of symmetrical communication in internal organizational communication from employees` perspective. 3. To investigate how symmetrical communication manifests itself in the process of employee engagement in professional development employees` perspective. Results. 1. From perspective of employees` symmetrical communication is associated with dialogue based on reciprocity and equality, and jointly made decisions. Symmetrical communication is perceived as process in which employees' ideas are accepted and considered, and employees are included in decision-making process. 2. In studied organizations from perspective of employees` symmetrical communication manifests as mutual adaptation, open communication, two-way communication, empowerment, equal communication, honest and open information sharing, balanced communication. The characteristics of symmetrical communication promote educators' motivation, self-confidence and involvement in professional development. 3. In the process of employees` engagement in professional development, from perspective of employees` symmetrical communication is expressed as clear and purposeful communication process, creating conditions for dialogue in which educators receive emotional support, feel heard, and are assessed their needs. |
