Abstract [eng] This forum analyses how a dialogue between methodological approaches in historiographical research across different world regions and time periods can yield new perspectives on migration, mobility, and network research. By applying the postcolonial concept of subaltern groups, the authors discuss ways to let 'ordinary people' speak through unconventional sources.
