Abstract [eng] Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing education. Learning Management Systems (LMSs) are a crucial component in the planning of educational content and the management of the interaction between teachers and learners. Nevertheless, they usually suffer from being static and not involving any sort of interaction, which may discourage students and undermine teaching efficacy. The introduction of AI into LMS tools can solve such problems by providing dynamic, individual, and real-time support. One of the most popular LMSs, Moodle, has gradually introduced AI technologies that improve learning by adjusting personalization, offering more efficient assessment, among others. This paper analyzes the potential and the challenges of AI utilization in Moodle, and illustrates how this can contribute to making the educational experience more "intelligent" and interactive.
