The main aim of this master’s thesis is to evaluate the impact of AI integration on decision-making quality in financial sector organizations and to determine the role of organizational maturity in this relationship. The thesis consists of three main parts: literature review, research and its results, and conclusions and recommendations. The literature review examines the concept of AI, its application possibilities in business processes, the concept of decision-making quality, and the significance of organizational maturity in technology integration processes. The main advantages, challenges, and risks of applying AI in organizations are also discussed. After conducting the literature analysis, the author carried out an empirical study using a quantitative research method. The research data were collected through a questionnaire survey of employees working in financial sector organizations. A total of 143 respondents participated in the study, and 134 questionnaires were considered suitable for statistical analysis. The study identified a statistically significant positive effect of AI integration on decision-making quality, particularly in terms of the practical scope of AI application and the types of AI solutions used. However, the moderating effect of organizational maturity was not found to be statistically significant. In addition, respondents’ demographic and organizational characteristics mostly did not have a significant impact on the results. The conclusions emphasize the importance of AI application, employees’ technological competencies, and a data-driven organizational culture. The findings may be useful for both financial sector organizations and future research on AI in process management. |
