Abstract [eng] Title of the wor: k Possibilities of applying music therapy in improving the education of children with special educational needs in music schools. Justification of the topic. In the modern context of health, well-being and education, music therapy is considered an effective way to strengthen the psychological and emotional state of a person, and the application of its elements helps to create a favorable environment for the comprehensive development of a child. In the context of inclusive education, it is relevant to ensure high-quality education of children with special educational needs (SEN) in various educational institutions, including music (art) schools. The integration of music therapy methods into informal music education can create more favorable conditions for student engagement and individual progress. Therefore, it is appropriate to analyze the possibilities of applying music therapy in educating children with special educational needs in music (art) schools. Research objective: to investigate the possibilities of applying music therapy in the inclusive education of children with special educational needs in music (art) schools. Research objectives: 1. To reveal the health and educational conditions of children with special educational needs in the context of informal music education. 2. To analyze the possibilities of applying inclusive music education and music therapy in the environment of informal education (music/art schools). 3. To reveal the attitude of music school leaders towards the possibilities of applying music therapy when organizing inclusive education in music (art) schools. Research methods: analysis of educational documents, analysis of scientific literature, semi-structured interviews, questionnaire survey. Research results and conclusions: music (art) school leaders positively evaluate inclusive education and recognize the benefits of music therapy in the educational process of students with SEN. The research results showed statistically significant relationships between educational conditions, teacher competencies and possibilities of applying music therapy. Music therapy is considered a promising tool for improving the education of children with SEN, however, its effective integration requires consistent institutional preparation and strengthening of teacher competencies.
