Abstract [eng] This study examines how customer demand for clothing made ethically and environmentally is changing worldwide manufacturing and marketing methods, as well as the expanding influence of sustainable textile consumption on the global fashion industry. The study explores the change from rapid fashion to slow fashion, emphasising the shift towards circular economic structures, eco-conscious customers, and innovative textile materials. As brands adjust to sustainable demands, the research evaluates the opportunities and difficulties that emerge through a critical examination of market trends, sustainability policies, and industry practices. The report also discusses how traditional textile production affects the environment and how sustainable alternatives help cut down on waste, pollution, and resource exploitation. The results are intended to offer insightful information on how the consumption of sustainable textiles is impacting consumer behaviour and causing structural changes in the global fashion sector.
