Abstract [eng] The relevance of this work is based on the growing need to implement circular economy principles in the tourism sector, which is highly dependent on natural and cultural resources and has a significant impact on the environment due to waste, energy and water consumption and pollution. The object of the work is the implementation of circular economy initiatives in the tourism sector. The aim of the work is to examine the implementation of circular economy initiatives in the tourism sector. To achieve this goal, five tasks were formulated: 1. To discuss the concepts, principles and models of circular economy and circular economy initiatives in the tourism sector. 2. To examine the theoretical relationship between circular economy initiatives and sustainable tourism development, based on the perspective of three main indicators - environmental, economic and social. 3. To review the existing literature on the implementation of circular economy initiatives in the tourism sector. 4. To develop a conceptual research model linking circular economy initiatives, organizational practices, stakeholder engagement and a framework of three key indicators. 5. To investigate the direct impact of circular economy initiatives on organizational practices, stakeholder engagement and the indirect impact of circular economy initiatives on the three-point outcomes in tourism organizations. Theoretical results show that circular economy principles such as waste reduction, reuse, recycling, resource efficiency and regeneration are a suitable basis for improving tourism sustainability. In summary, the results confirm the importance of circular economy practices, stakeholder collaboration, management support and performance measurement in the transition to circular tourism. The empirical results show that circular economy initiatives have a positive impact on organizational practices and stakeholder engagement. Therefore, the implementation of the circular economy in tourism should be understood as a systematic and collaborative process involving tourism businesses, tourists, suppliers, local communities, policy makers and environmental activists.
