Abstract [eng] SUMMARY Expression of competitive social and competitive social psychological skills in young football players (14-17 years old): age and location aspects Relevance of the work. Football matches, characterized by a high level of emotional tension and stress, become a social space in which a teenager must be able not only to implement tactical instructions, but also to demonstrate adequate competitive social and socio-psychological skills - self-regulation, trust, constructive communication and conflict management. Research problem. The practical Lithuanian football space still faces a pedagogical problem: authoritarian pressure often dominates sports activities, which provokes competitive anxiety and aggression. This problem is exacerbated by demographic and regional exclusion in the country. Research object: competitive social and competitive social-psychological skills of 14-17 year old football players. Research goal: to determine the expression of competitive social and competitive social-psychological skills of 14-17 year old football players in terms of age and place of residence. Research objectives: 1. To identify and compare the expression of competitive social skills of young football players (14–15 and 16–17 years old) in terms of age. 2. To analyze the differences in the expression of competitive social skills of young (14–17 years old) city and district football players. 3. To evaluate and compare the expression of competitive social psychological skills of young football players (14–15 and 16–17 years old) in terms of age. 4. To reveal the peculiarities of the expression of competitive social psychological skills of young (14–17 years old) city and district football players. Research methodology. The research is based on the following methodological provisions: the study of young football players aged 14–17 based on the principles of humanistic Rogers pedagogy. football players' education, the concept of social skills development by humanizing the sports education of football players, integration of social learning theory into football players' education Research methods: theoretical analysis and generalization, questionnaires, mathematical statistics. Research sample. The research sample consisted of 238 young (14-17 years old) football players - 122 from Šiauliai city, 116 from Šiauliai and Radviliškis districts. Conclusions: 1 The competitive social skills of older 16-17 year old football players are better than those of 14-15 year old players. 2 The social competitive skills of city football players are assessed as good, and those of districts - as average. 3 The competitive social psychological skills of older 16-17 year old football players are stronger and more even than those of younger 14-15 year old football players. 4 The competitive social psychological readiness of urban football players is at a higher level than that of district football players.
