Three species of Elachista Treitschke, 1833 are described as new: E. agassizi sp. nov., E. knudlarseni sp. nov., and E. riftella sp. nov. The new species are diagnosed and illustrated with photographs of the adults and male genitalia. A checklist of 25 Elachista species known in sub-Saharan Africa is included. |
