| Abstract [eng] |
This article examines how cognitive and personal factors of green consumer behavior influence consumers' repurchase intention for eco-friendly household products. The study responds to the growing relevance of sustainable consumption and to the need for more detailed evidence on the household goods sector, which has received less attention than food and cosmetics in previous research. A quantitative online survey was conducted in Lithuania, and 399 valid responses were analyzed using reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, Spearman correlation and linear regression. The results show that both cognitive and personal factors are statistically significant predictors of repurchase intention. Personal factors have a slightly stronger explanatory effect than cognitive factors, although the difference is marginal. Attitudes toward eco-friendly products and perceived behavioral control demonstrate the strongest effects, while perceived green value also has a positive and significant influence. Brand trust is positively related to repurchase intention, but its explanatory power is lower than that of the other constructs. The findings suggest that transparent information about health and environmental benefits, strengthened product credibility and trust-building communication are important for encouraging repeated purchases of eco-friendly household products. The article contributes to green consumer behavior research by focusing on repurchase intention in the household products sector and by comparing the relative influence of cognitive and personal determinants. |
