Abstract [eng] This master thesis analyses proactive employee behavior at work, links between proactive behavior, its types and leadership aspects and individual characteristics. The interaction between transformational leadership, participative leadership, employer‘s proactive behavior and stimulation to act proactive, routine seeking, occupational self-efficacy and engagement at work is not analysed properly yet, so this study reveal the important role of leadership aspects and individual characteristics for proactive behavior at work. 237 employees have participated in this study (164 females and 73 males), the mean age of 32,6 years. Respondents were asked to fill online questionnaire which studied proactive employee‘s behavior and its types, transformational and participated leadership, leader‘s proactive behavior, stimulation to act proactive, routine seeking, occupational self efficacy and work engagement. Results: proactive strategic behavior is predicted by participative leadership, stimulation to employees to act proactive, routine seeking, occupational self efficacy and work engagement. Proactive person – enviroment fit behavior is predicted by work engagement. Proactive work behavior is predicted by participative leadership, stimulation to employees to act proactive, routine seeking, occupational self efficacy and work engagement. Work engagement is full mediator to participative leadership and stimulation to act proactive predicting proactive person – enviroment fit behavior.
