Abstract [eng] Literature lack information about relation between work engagement, stress at work, job demands, job resources and proactive behavior. Therefore this research was aimed to determine importance of work engagement and stress at work appointed to job demands, job resources, proactive behavior and types of proactive behavior connections. Group of people from 18 years old to 61 years old were surveyed using Utrecht Work Engagement Scale–3, Subjective stress scale, scales of Questionnaire on the Experience and Evaluation of Work and Proactive work behavior scale (80 – men, 176 women, N = 256). Survey results showed, that general employee proactive behavior is predicted by feedback and work engagement, proactive strategic behavior – by autonomy and work engagement, proactive person – environment fit behavior is predicted by work engagement and stress at work, while proactive work behavior – by autonomy and work engagement. In addition it was determined that different job resources can predict proactive behavior and types of proactive behavior directly and partly via work engagement.
