Master's thesis analyzes quality management of social services at home. The objective of the research – to form quality management model based on the European quality assurance and certification system EQUASS, to reveal the situation of quality management of social services at home in Mazeikiai district and to form opportunities for improvement of quality management of social services at home. In the analysis of scientific literature were systematized and summarized factors, influencing the quality of social services at home, overviewed scientists insights in a quality management of social services at home. The analysis of the documents revealed, that there is no equal model of quality management of social services at home in municipalities. The questions of quality of social services at home are left to responsibility of municipalities. An interview was performed in order to reveal the situation of quality management of social services in a municipality of Mazeikiai district. The results of the interview analysis revealed, that the informants evaluate the system of quality management of social services at home can be improved, confirms, that in municipalities there is no equal system. The research exposes positive aspects of quality management of social services at home: improvement of qualification, orientation to the recipient of social services, the procedure of quality assessment of social services at home has been approved, implementation of projects. Negative aspects: lack of employees, change and attitude towards a work of employees, heavy workload and low salary, hostile recipients of social services, volunteers are not included in the services provision. The results of the qualitative research revealed, that European quality assurance and quality certification system EQUASS is appropriate for analysis of quality management of social services at home, promotes decisions of management, may help to establish a plan for quality management and assure quality of services. |
