Methods of the research: analysis of scientific and methodical literature, questionnaire survey of parents, analysis of quantitative research. The research took place in April 2019. 58 respondents participated in the research. The questionnaire method was used to find out the parents’ opinion on the impact of music on the child’s psychophysical development at an early age. After analysing scientific studies on the developmental stages of the child’s development at an early age, the following conclusions were drawn: The initial stage of human life is called the prenatal period, which lasts from conception to birth. Scientists say that during the first three years of the baby’s life there is a huge change in the child’s abilities: physical development takes place, personality traits, child’s mind, language, emotions are developing. Music is an important part of early childhood education because its sounds, rhythm stimulate and accelerate the child’s psychophysical development, develop social, artistic, linguistic, emotional and physical skills. The empirical research revealed a positive attitude to the advantages of early music education activities, stating that they are interesting, purposeful and adapted to the age of children. The research showed that most mothers identify creativity, musical games, expression of motion and positive emotions as the most important features of education. These factors undoubtedly develop and promote the psychosocial development of the child at an early age: memory, thinking, language development, motor skills, etc. |
