Abstract [eng] In contemporary football, it is extremely important to combine physical and technical, tactical and psychological training. In team sports, the score depends on various factors – anaerobic and aerobic power of players, their tactics, techniques and motivation to utilize their potential to the maximum throughout a match (Grujic, 1998). During the game, athletes have to jump, push, block, dribble, pass the ball, sprint and make sudden stops, but all of this requires muscle strength and power concentration in limb and waist areas (Izquierdo, 2002; Kalinski, 2002). While playing football, not the coherence of one player’s physical development and technical actions, but the whole team’s actions with and without the ball are important. Based on this, the aim of the research paper has been set – to investigate relation between agility of football players while moving without the ball and inclusion of technical elements while moving with the ball. What is more, objective to prepare test standards depending on results received from the research participants, since every year football players of similar abilities come to study at Šiauliai Sports Gymnasium, has been set. Hypotheses of the research paper: 1) the difference in results of agility tests performed by football players without and with the ball shows level of technique development. 2) Football players’ technique level differs depending on their position. The subject of the study. Relation between agility and technique in football players’ movement. The aim of the research paper. To investigate relation between football players agility while moving without the ball and inclusion of technique elements moving with the ball, determining time difference while performing tests with and without the ball. To make test standards. The objectives of the research. 1. Based on analysis of scientific literature, determine the history of football, physiological characteristics of football players, physical features that are common in football, as well as conception and significance of physical features. 2. To ascertain if the difference of the results of agility tests performed by football players with and without the ball showcase the level of technique development. 3.
