This article presents the research results from a two-compartment building of an unknown function that was discovered during the detailed archaeological investigation of the Royal Palace in the Lower Castle in Vilnius between November 2014 and January 2015. By applying a variety of research methodologies, which include archaeological, archaeobotanical, archaeoparasitological micromorphological (spherulites) and entomological studies, here we propose a possible function of the house. |
