Abstract [eng] The article discusses relevant aspects of interpretation of Aarticle 192 of Criminal Code of the Rrepublic of Lithuania: proposes scholastic arguments regarding object of crime and discusses bodies of crimes in Article 192 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Llithuania. Article raises the idea that interpretation and application of Article 192 of Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania is alienated from the primary source of criminal liability, i.e. from the text of Article 192. Aaccording to the author Article 192 of Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania does not protect the rights of holders of the related rights. However the courts apply Article 192 expansively as if it protected, inter alia, the related rights. Therefore application of Article 192 infringes the principle nullum crimen, nulla poena sine lege. The author of the article suggests amending the Aarticle 192 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania by adding criminal liability for infringements of related rights.
