Hepatitis B virus infection during pregnancy presents with unique manage-ment issues for both mother and fetus. These include the effects of hepatitis B virus on maternal and fetal health, the effects of pregnancy on the course of hepatitis B virus infection, treatment of hepatitis B virus infection during pregnancy, and prevention of mother-to-child transmission. Clinical case and review of EASL guidelines are presented in this article. |
