Article 2 allows only in the UN Charter established exceptions, in which unilateral humanitarian intervention does not fall under, because traditionally it is not used to defend citizens of the intervening country as it should be trying to rely on the right of self-defence and if a humanitarian intervention is authorized by UN Security Council, then aspect of unilaterism is missing and it is considered to be as de jure legal. |
