Abstract [eng] The social demographic and axiological profile of the present-day Homo irretitus, the true master and all together humble servant of the globally digital world, exhibits a considerable change when compared with its stance at the very beginning of the current millennium. Its basic demographic characteristics such as age distribution, sex, nationality, place of residence, etc. steadily approach the world-wide average figures. The same tendency applies to the complex axiological plexus: the patterns of self-identity, as well as aspirations and worries have lost their former technocentric load and acquired forthright flavor of common socially oriented values. This overarching transformation was insistently determined by the steady conversion of telematically mediated digital interactions into the routinely constitutive vehicles of everyday lifeworld taken as a whole.
