Abstract [eng] The article analyzes the main features of the Consumer Rights Directive (CRD) and the provisions harmonized by this directive. It ascertains the Lithuanian law provisions should be revised in order to implement the provisions of the CRD. The implementation of the CRD will cause quite many changes in the Lithuanian law. Obviously this is the very right time to discuss and decide on the further direction and ways of regulation consumer protection law in Lithuania. The article describes the current situation in the regulation of the consumer protection field in Lithuania and possible directions and ways of the implementation of the EC consumer acquis communautairein Lithuanian law, their advantages and disadvantages. Despite of fact that codification (or at least systematisation) of legal norms is very complicated and heavy-duty way for the regulation of the consumer protection (as well as for the implementation of the EC law in Lithuanian law), this is the only way which ensure legal certainty, transparency and the effectiveness of the implementation of legal norms in practice. The article suggests for the discussion the systematic structure of legal norms how the CRD could be implemented in Lithuanian law. It is proposed to draft separate division in Lithuanian Civil Code regulating the features of all consumer contracts and it is provided the systematic structure of this division. Also it provides proposal for the systematic changes in Consumer Protection Law.
