The analysis of the North Samogitian spoken language intonation suggests that it essentially complies with the intonation principles of Standard Lithuanian (theme/rheme distinction, grammatical intonation); however, it also displays individual features as syntagmata of the same composition can be used with different intonation patterns by different speakers. |
