In this final master‘s work it is being reached to reveal the parental concept of a good school in the context of inclusive education. This master‘s work analizes the concept of a good school, the criteria of school‘s choices, the advantages and disadvantages of a current school, expectations and a viewpoint of parents to diversity of learners. In the theoretical part on the basis of analysis literature and national and international documents it is being analyzed the concept of a good school and its connection with values of inclusive education. In the survey that was done in September –October in 2019 , 12 parents (N=12) who bring up children that studying in 1-10 class participated. The aim of this survey is revealing features of a good school and its the connections with values and indications of inclusive education. To process received data the quantatitative analyzis of interviu content was applyed. The most important conclusions of empirical research: 1) Parents constructing their depiction first of all indicate positive character features. The main characteristics of children interrelationships are friendly relationships or bullying. 2)The concept of a good school is related with favorable educational environment, positive microclimate, profesional educators and pleasant surroundings. The main criteria of school options – location. 3)Parents revealed their positive viewpoint to diversity of learners and to learners who have special needs. Parents emphasize the importance of creating favorable conditions as well as preparation of educators and classrooms. 4) The main aim of the mission which is under construction by parents relates with aspects named as aspects of a good school in the concept of a good school: the importance of personality‘s growth, nurturing humane values. 5) Acording to parents, the main advantages of current school are good teachers, professionals, services provided, pleasant environment. The disadvantages – lack of pedagogical competences, a big amount of learners in the classroom as well as lack of interesting activities and events. Expectations – lower amount of learners in the classrooms, more help to learners who have special needs and innovations in educational process. |
