Personnel motivation and it‘s influencing factors in Panevėžys women‘s correction house – open prison colony are widely examined in this work. The purpose of this Master paper is to reveal and improve deficiencies of this organisation. Making personnel motivation system improvement research mixed research strategy was used - questionnaire and interview methods were used. Master thesis is divided into three parts. In conceptual part personnel‘s motivation system‘s theoretical aspects are analyzed through foreign and Lithuanian scientists works. First of all, meaning and concept of personnel motivation in public sector‘s organization is reviewed. Further, deepened into early and modern theories of motivation in order to understand origins and change of attitude to motivation of employees. In next subsection personnel motivation system was analyzed to reveal their development stages and compare presentation of questions in questionnaire. The last chapter of conceptual part consists of naming and comparing motivation factors, which instruments of motivation are most efficient in terms of scientists. Second part of paper is methodical and analytical. In this part research methodology of personnel motivation system is given, organising of research, methodology, the survey sample and instruments are named. Also introduced personnel motivation system improvement analysis of Panevėžys open prison colony . Named and summarized results of research. Third part of paper – strategic. In this part improvement strategy of employees motivation, which is formulated based on results of quantitative research which were formulated in third part of this work. In the end of this work recommendations are provided, conclusions are formulated. List of used literature is added, data which is relevant preparing master thesis is placed in annexes. |
