Abstract [eng] |
The aim of the article is to justify the inseparability of reflexivity and social work profession. The justification of inseparability is made by analysing social work profession and the discourses of social work profession. In summarising the ideas of different authors it is possible to identify the main features of social work profession: the dilemma of dual mandate, the deficit of technology, the principle of coproduction and dialogical agreement and the fundamental knowledge about subjectively and selectively perceived reality. Dealing with main features of social work, social workers need to be reflexive. The reflexivity is also justified by the new theories of social work professionality. The article presents three of them: hermeneutic professionality, social work as modern service profession and the conception of reflexive professionality. |
