There was the movement of deinstitutionalization in Western societies in the 7th decade of XX century. The process of deinstitutionalization caused the changes in the organization of social and healthcare services. The process of deinstitutionalization started in post-communists countries in the 9th decade of previous century. The aim of the article is to analyse and evaluate the results of deinstitutionalization in the field of personal social services in post-communist Lithuania. |
